Peru Senior Mission/Class Trip
Atholton’s Senior Class under Griggs is partnering with ADRA Connections for a mission trip to Peru.
ADRA Peru works with high-altitude farming communities in the Andes, where homes are poorly built, and the extreme cold affects children’s education. The Warm Homes project improves living conditions by providing electricity, smokeless stoves, trombe walls, and better infrastructure.
The senior class will help by building bathrooms to address illnesses caused by poor sanitation and installing clean stoves to reduce respiratory issues. This high-need project offers an invaluable hands-on experience for volunteers.
